Still in the upper northern part of Israel, we continue with in the Golan Heights, to visit a place called Caesarea Philippi (Banias on the maps), the second biggest spring of the Jordan River and where Jesus asked his disciples “Who do men say that I am?”
We will talk about this once Roman city called Panias, named after the god Pan, the center of pagan worship in the Golan area and about the reason Jesus brought his disciples there.
